Death Of An Innocent!!!...
I went to a party Mom,
I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom,
So I drank soda instead.
I really felt proud inside, Mom,
The way you said I would.
I didn't drink and drive, Mom,
Even though the others said I should.
I know I did the right thing, Mom,
I know you are always right.
Now the party is finally ending, Mom,
As everyone is driving out of sight.
As I got into my car, Mom,
I knew I'd get home in one piece.
Because of the way you raised me,
So responsible and sweet.
I started to drive away, Mom,
But as I pulled out into the road,
The other car didn't see me, Mom,
And hit me like a load.
As I lay there on the pavement, Mom,
I hear the policeman say,
"The other guy is drunk," Mom,
And now I'm the one who will pay.
I'm lying here dying, Mom....
I wish you'd get here soon.
How could this happen to me, Mom?
My life just burst like a balloon.
There is blood all around me, Mom,
And most of it is mine.
I hear the medic say, Mom,
I'll die in a short time.
I just wanted to tell you, Mom ,
I swear I didn't drink.
It was the others, Mom.
The others didn't think.
He was probably at the same party as I.
The only difference is, he drank,
And I will die.
Why do people drink, Mom ?
It can ruin your whole life.
I'm feeling sharp pains now.
Pains just like a knife.
The guy who hit me is walking, Mom,
And I don't think it's fair.
I'm lying here dying
And all he can do is stare.
Tell my brother not to cry, Mom .
Tell Daddy to be brave.
And when I go to heaven, Mom,
Put " Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have told him, Mom,
Not to drink and drive.
If only they had told him, Mom,
I would still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter, Mom.
I'm becoming very scared.
Please don't cry for me, Mom.
When I needed you, you were always there.
I have one last question, Mom.
Before I say good bye.
I didn't drink and drive,
So why am I the one to die?
Does One Can Really Answer It ????

Love And Affection Is What Everyone Desires...Nice Story!!!

Your Valuable friends...!!!
I heard a story about an older woman who stood in line at the Post Office. She struck up a conversation with a young man next to her. He noticed that she had no packages to mail, and asked why she was standing in line. She said that she just needed a few stamps.
"Ma'am, you must be tired standing here. Did you know there's a stamp machine over there in the corner?" He pointed to the machine built into the wall.
"Why yes, thank you," the lady replied, "but I'll just wait here a little while longer. I'm getting close to the window."
The customer became insistent.
"But it would be so much easier for you to avoid this long line and buy your stamps from the machine."
The woman patted him on the arm and answered, "Oh, I know. But that old machine would never ask me how my grandchildren are doing."
She had a need greater than the need for postage stamps -- a need to feel connected to other people. And it was a need that could not be met by a stamp machine.

Unity In Diversity...!
Diversity is a beautiful thing. Do not challenge it or turn your back on it. Embrace it. Life is so short. Reach out. Hurry up and love somebody different!Unity in Diversity is what we've heard since childhood, but do we really know what actually this saying means and what it’s preordained for, what its objective is. It’s just not merely a saying; its purpose is to grow affection among the human beings and there respect for every religion and every racial community prevailing on this heavenly earth, irrespective of there color or creed. It teaches us to live unitedly and lovingly forever .Let us identify each individual not by his or her caste, language rather call each one as “we are the world”.
Here.I m adding a beautiful poem By Maya Angelou describing the Real sense behind "Unity In Diversity"
Amazing Peace!
Thunder rumbles in the mountain passes
And lightning rattles the eaves of our houses.
Flood waters await us in our avenues.
Snow falls upon snow, falls upon snow to avalanche
Over unprotected villages.
The sky slips low and grey and threatening.
We question ourselves.
What have we done to so affront nature?
We worry God.
Are you there? Are you there really?
Does the covenant you made with us still hold?
Into this climate of fear and apprehension, Christmas enters,
Streaming lights of joy, ringing bells of hope
And singing carols of forgiveness high up in the bright air.
The world is encouraged to come away from rancor,
Come the way of friendship.
It is the Glad Season.
Thunder ebbs to silence and lightning sleeps quietly in the corner.
Flood waters recede into memory.
Snow becomes a yielding cushion to aid us
As we make our way to higher ground.
Hope is born again in the faces of children
It rides on the shoulders of our aged as they walk into their sunsets.
Hope spreads around the earth. Brightening all things,
Even hate which crouches breeding in dark corridors.
In our joy, we think we hear a whisper.
At first it is too soft. Then only half heard.
We listen carefully as it gathers strength.
We hear a sweetness.
The word is Peace.
It is loud now. It is louder.
Louder than the explosion of bombs.
We tremble at the sound. We are thrilled by its presence.
It is what we have hungered for.
Not just the absence of war. But, true Peace.
A harmony of spirit, a comfort of courtesies.
Security for our beloveds and their beloveds.
We clap hands and welcome the Peace of Christmas.
We beckon this good season to wait a while with us.
We, Baptist and Buddhist, Methodist and Muslim, say come.
Peace.
Come and fill us and our world with your majesty.
We, the Jew and the Jainist, the Catholic and the Confucian,
Implore you, to stay a while with us.
So we may learn by your shimmering light
How to look beyond complexion and see community.
It is Christmas time, a halting of hate time.
On this platform of peace, we can create a language
To translate ourselves to ourselves and to each other.
At this Holy Instant, we celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ
Into the great religions of the world.
We jubilate the precious advent of trust.
We shout with glorious tongues at the coming of hope.
All the earth's tribes loosen their voices
To celebrate the promise of Peace.
We, Angels and Mortal's, Believers and Non-Believers,
Look heavenward and speak the word aloud.
Peace. We look at our world and speak the word aloud.
Peace. We look at each other, then into ourselves
And we say without shyness or apology or hesitation.
Peace, My Brother.
Peace, My Sister.
Peace, My Soul.

How come u ve made to me…such a colossal blunder.no u cant ,coz no one else can.. nd neither nebody did so in ma intact Existence…..
How come u relegated yourself to such stance.u've mortified ma essence.
It's nt within your capabilities to mortify ma fortitude.but u did.

U r overshadowing ma soul ,

There is no more verve left inside me.
U've conquered ma sensations…
U've taken sway over me.
M' here standing tranquil ….With no buttress but it's still u who 've tightly embraced me through your strapping arms.
Why u covet for me to subsist on ur penny.
Why u relish of slaughtering me.
It's your chauvinism pro me.

Egypt....The Treasure Of Secrets On Earth.
We’ve already heard a lot about Egypt, there culture, there inhabitants and so much more about the region itself in movies, and so many other media, still the inquisitiveness remains fired….it can only be sufficed when u have got a voyage to such an astonishing, adventurous, exploratory and beautiful place.
I feel it’s a heaven on this earth, and god has bestowed it everything that attracts a human like we can think of a situation when a gorgeous woman who owns heavenly magnificence along with a surreptitious behind its existence.
Rare is the condition when you can dig out yourself from the swamp of the beauty of this place. U gets more drowned inside it as much as u tries to get away from it.
The Pyramids of Giza are the oldest and only remaining monuments ofthe Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. These massive structures were created as tombs for the rulers of the Old Kingdom (see the Timeline). Even after more than four thousand years of exposure and weathering, the Pyramids of Giza stand as awe-inspiring monuments to the genius and creativity of a long-dead culture.
"*"Egyptologists currently believe that the design for the Egyptian Pyramid was inspired by the fact that the sand dunes in the desert naturally form a pyramidal shape, which is very stable. The Pyramids themselves developed out of designs of previous tombs. Early Egyptian tombs were bench-shaped mounds called mastabas. About 2780 B.C., King Zoser's architect, Imhotep, designed the first pyramid by layering six mastabas of decreasing size one on top of the other. Thus, the Step Pyramid was born. This pyramid was used, like its descendants, as a tomb for the dead king |
During the reign of Snefru (c. 2680-2560 B.C.), the step pyramid became a smooth-sided pyramid. Snefru had his step pyramid at Medum filled in to form straight sides, then covered the structure with limestone (all the pyramids once had limestone casings, but during the occupation of Egypt by the Arabs, much of those coverings were removed to build cities such as Cairo). Later, another transition was made to add stability. At Bahshur, a smooth-sided pyramid was started with sides at an angle of incline over 51 degrees, but was changed half-way to about 43 degrees. This is known as the "Bent Pyramid." |
![]() |
The Great Pyramid at Giza, built by Khufu (Cheops in Greek), is by far the best-known and most impressive of all the Egyptian Pyramids. Its original height was an astounding 481 feet, as high as a 40 story skyscraper and its base covers about 13 acres of land. The Pyramid contains approximately 2,300,000 limestone blocks, the average weight of each about 2.5tons, the heaviest weighing over 15 tons. |
The Great Pyramid stands with two other pyramids. One for Khufu's son, Khafre (Chephren), and another for his successor, Menkaure (Mycerinus). |
The Great Sphinx also stands on the Giza plateau. This immense sculpture, with the body of a lion and the head of a man, acts as the guardian of the tombs of the great kings according to the Ancient Egyptians. It was probablyulpted out of an unwanted mound of limestone in the desert during the time of Khafre. |
While the Pyramids are the most recognizable of Egyptian monuments, many other impressive structures were built by the ancients. Temples were constructed to pay tribute to the gods and the Pharaoh, who was considered a man-god himself. Shown to the right is the impressive Temple of Ramses II, considered to be the most powerful Pharaoh of Egypt."*" |
